Time to book your Christmas party
As we head into the height of British summertime (!), here at Globe we can’t help but be looking to what lies ahead. As much as you might not want to admit it, and even though Santa is still enjoying his summer holidays, it’s time to get your plans in place for your company Christmas Party.
The best venues will be filling up soon, as more and more people organise their Christmas parties further in advance to secure the hottest spots and coolest entertainment.
If you’re still well and truly in the mood for basking in the summer sun, and you’d rather not be thinking about where to stick your tinsel just yet, don’t worry – Globe has got you covered! Here are a few ideas that might just pique your interest (and if not, get in touch, we’ve got plenty more in Santa’s sack).
Remember, Globe can arrange the entire experience from start to finish, from getting you from the office to the party to making sure you have a fantastic time while you’re there (and ensuring you get the very best rates) so be sure to get in touch if you see something that you like the look of, and one of our elves will be happy to help you!
Winterville is a Christmas pop up on Clapham Common, perfect both for smaller groups, and for private hire for up to 1,000 guests. It’s a whole Christmas themed-town, complete with funfair rides, street food stalls and a variety of entertainment – including Plonk Golf, Roller Disco and an Ice Rink. The Ice Rink can also be hired out for exclusive use for up to 200 guests. Winterville makes for a unique, memorable experience that will stand out in your guests minds as a Christmas do to remember.
City Cruises Christmas Boat Party
Great for smaller groups looking for a unique place to party, these Christmas Party Cruises offer elegant dining and fantastic entertainment set to the unique backdrop of London from the Thames. Options are available for smaller parties to join with other similarly sized groups for a shared festive experience, while larger groups may consider hiring an entire boat all to themselves!
Street Feast – Hawker House and Dinerama
We recently featured Street Feast venue Giant Robot. Well here are a couple more, perfect for a Christmas party, large or small. Again, smaller groups may wish to join in a shared Christmas party, while larger groups can also be catered for with up to 1,000 guests for private hire. These unique venues offer fantastic street food stalls, great entertainment and a cool, chilled vibe.
Hintze Hall at the Natural History Museum
The soon to be re-opened Hintze Hall is a truly unique setting for a Christmas party. A beautiful Romanesque building, it offers a stunning, spectacular backdrop for events, and a Christmas party here would be one that guests would last in your guests memories for many more Christmases to come. With Christmas theming, you’d be forgiven for feeling that you’d stepped into Hogwarts. Neighbouring galleries can also be hired out for guests to explore and enjoy. With such a large space, the Hall can cater for large parties for up to 1200. If that’s still too small(!) you could consider hiring the entire museum and having Hintze Hall for your reception.
Recently, the Hall has welcomed a new resident – the skeleton of a vast blue whale, which would certainly be a talking point at any event!
Time is of the essence and now is the time to source your venue. Whether you like the sound of one that we’ve featured here, or want a few more festive ideas, please get in touch.
